Critical Notifications
These notifications are always sent and cannot be disabled:
- Payment failed — When a subscription payment fails
- Trial ending — Reminder before your trial expires
- Runway warning — When cash runway drops below thresholds
- Subscription changes — When your plan changes
- Integration errors — When a connection fails or sync errors occur
Critical notifications ensure you never miss important account or financial alerts.
Quiet Hours
Prevent non-critical notifications during specific hours:
- Go to Profile → Preferences
- Enable Quiet Hours
- Set start time (e.g., 10:00 PM)
- Set end time (e.g., 8:00 AM)
Notifications are held during quiet hours and delivered afterward. Critical notifications bypass quiet hours.
Your quiet hours use your profile timezone setting.
Quick Actions
Enable All
Turn on all notifications across all categories. Useful if you’ve been missing updates.
Disable All
Turn off all non-critical notifications. You’ll still receive critical alerts about payments, runway, and integrations.
Notification Frequency
Some notifications are sent as digests rather than immediately:
- Daily celebrations — Combines all birthdays and anniversaries into one email
- Financial health digest — Weekly or monthly summary
- Upcoming events — Weekly preview of scheduled events
Tips
Start with defaults — The default settings are designed for most users. Adjust only what’s noisy.
Use quiet hours — If you work unusual hours or across time zones, set quiet hours to match your schedule.
Keep critical on — Critical notifications exist to protect your business. Don’t try to work around them.
Check your spam folder — If you’re not receiving emails, check spam/junk folders and add our domain to your safe senders list.
Slack Notifications
If you’ve connected Slack, some notifications can also be sent there. Configure Slack notification channels in Account Settings → Integrations → Slack.
Slack notifications are separate from email/in-app preferences — you can receive both or just one.
